In an interview with Kanal 5, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski indicated that of the four candidates for chief public prosecutor for whom the Council of Public Prosecutors gave a positive assessment, three names are on the government list, and the former SPO prosecutor Lenche Ristoska is not among them.
The Council of Public Prosecutors gave a positive assessment to four of the five candidates for chief public prosecutor. The current acting chief public prosecutor Anita Topolova-Isajlovska, prosecutor Lence Ristovska, the judge from the Criminal Court, Nenad Savevski, and the prosecutor from the Skopje Prosecutor’s Office, Lidija Raichevikj, received a positive assessment.
Regarding Vladimir Pancevski’ nomination, it was unanimously decided that he does not meet the requirements stipulated by the law regarding length of service.
