I met with the Minister of National Defense of Greece, NikolaosDendias, on the sidelines of the NATO Summit and the North Atlantic Council meeting, said Macedonian Defense Minister VladoMisajlovski on Friday.
As Minister Misajlovski informed, at the meeting with Dendias they discussed current security challenges, allied cooperation within NATO and opportunities for further enhancing bilateral defense cooperation between the two countries.
“We confirmed the mutual commitment of the two countries to peace, stability and security in the region, as well as to strengthening the collective defense of the Alliance,” Misajlovski said.
He added that open dialogue and close communication between the allies remain key to successfully addressing contemporary security challenges.
Minister Misajlovski stated, among other things, that bilateral defense cooperation between Macedonia and Greece continues to develop in a positive direction, which is confirmed by the joint commitment to improving defense capacities and the successful implementation of the annual cooperation plan between the two countries.
