With NATO’s support, the Macedonian Crisis Management Center (CMC) will modernize the crisis management system. The new system will include artificial intelligence for cross-border responses to crises and emergencies. The modernization will happen over several years.
The Crisis Management Center head Muhamed Ali signed the agreement for the implementation of the multi-year project G10231 – “Interoperable Incident Command System Driven by Artificial Intelligence for Cross-Border Response to Crises and Emergencies (NICS-2)”, which is being implemented as part of the NATO program “Science for Peace and Security – SPS)”.
The project represents a significant contribution to strengthening international cooperation.
This initiative will enable support together with partners from Ukraine, by sharing knowledge, experiences and best practices in the field of crisis and emergency management, the CMC said Wednesday.
