Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski held a meeting with his Slovenian counterpart, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tone Kajzer, on the sidelines of the Dubrovnik Forum.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the meeting affirmed the excellent bilateral cooperation and traditional friendship between the two countries.
The ministers agreed that in the coming period efforts will be made to inject a new dynamic and further improve bilateral relations, reaffirming the shared commitment to enhancing cooperation, both on a bilateral and multilateral level.
A special emphasis was placed on North Macedonia’s EU accession process, the reforms, and the need for a credible, predictable, and merit-based accession process.
Mucunski stressed the Government’s commitment to the implementation of reforms and expressed gratitude for Slovenia’s continued and principled support.
The two ministers also exchanged views on ongoing regional and global security issues and discussed further improvement of cooperation within NATO.
