The Macedonian women’s handball team advanced to the semifinals of the ISF World School Championship, which is being held in Skopje, after defeating Brazil 19:18 Sunday afternoon.
The quarterfinal match brought an uncertain result in which the Macedonian team had a one-goal lead at halftime (11:10), which it managed to maintain until the very end.
Anja Lashkoska by scoring five goals and Ivana Trifunoska by scoring four goals were the most efficient Macedonian handball players.
