Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski reaffirmed the firm commitment to further strengthening cooperation with NATO and active contribution to regional and global security at a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte in Skopje on Tuesday.
“In the spirit of alliance and shared values, we discussed current security challenges, the role of the Alliance in preserving stability and peace, as well as the contribution of our country within the framework of collective defense. I reaffirmed our firm determination to further strengthen cooperation with NATO and actively contribute to regional and global security,” Mickoski said in a social media post.
According to Mickoski, the meeting was a confirmation of the partnership and mutual trust between Macedonia and NATO.
“This is a confirmation of the strong partnership and our determination to continue acting as a credible and responsible ally within the Alliance,” the PM noted.
