The results of the water in Gostivar made by the Institute of Public Health during the day will be sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, said Public Health Institute (PHI) director Marija Andonovska at a press conference in the Government.
“It is not only important to determine the cause, but most importantly to determine responsibility. No one should endanger the health of citizens. As an Institute, we continue to monitor the epidemiological situation,” said Andonovska.
When asked by reporters what the cause of the situation in Gostivar was, Health Minister Klekovski said that when the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) gives its consent to release the lab results, they will be shared with the general public.
“The lab tests were conducted at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and when it gives its consent to publicly released them, we will. We do not want to interfere in the investigation,” said Klekovski, adding that food is no longer a cause.
