Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade TimchoMucunski concluded his official visit to the State of Qatar with two meetings on Tuesday with the executive directors of Qatar Airways and Barzan Holdings, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release. At the meeting with the management of Qatar Airways, one of the world’s leading airlines, Minister Mucunski presented the Government’s investment openness, and the possibilities for establishing a direct flight between Skopje and Doha were also discussed.
The interlocutors agreed that better air connectivity will contribute to the development of tourism, trade, business contacts and mobility of citizens, as well as to further enhance economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting with Barzan Holdings, opportunities for cooperation in the field of defense industry and security technologies were discussed, as well as for the exchange of experiences in the development of defense capacities, modernization and strengthening of institutional resilience.
