NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is set to pay an official visit to Macedonia on Tuesday.
Rutte is set to meet with Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova. He is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi. Rutte will also attend a demonstration exercise of the Army.
This is Rutte’s first visit as NATO Secretary General to Skopje. He visited the country in November 2021 as the then Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
In 2023, then-NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg paid an official visit to Macedonia.
