The Financial Police Administration, in cooperation with the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO), is working on a new case involving the misuse and embezzlement of funds at the Macedonian State Lottery.
According to initial unofficial information from investigative authorities, the former head of finance at the State Lottery and one other individual have been detained; they are suspected of embezzling approximately MKD 80 million, dating back to the tenure of former director PerparimBajrami.
The operation is ongoing, and further information is expected later Monday.
