Gostivar resident U.R. (69) was detained Tuesday after police officers discovered weapons and ammunition at his home.
“During a search of his home and auxiliary premises, conducted pursuant to a court order, authorities found and seized an assault rifle with a magazine containing six 7.65mm rounds, a magazine with seventeen 7.65mm rounds, and several boxes containing a total of 110 rounds of various calibers,” the Macedonian Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in its report.
Suspect U.R. has been detained at the police station, and appropriate charges will be filed against him once the case is fully documented.
