The Government is supporting domestic entrepreneurs, the national industry and the economy. Last week, nearly EUR 120 million from the Hungarian loan were transferred to companies, with EUR 230 million allocated in total thus far, Macedonian Prime Minister HristijanMickoski said Monday during his visit to Bitola.

Responding to reporters, Mickoski said that he expects investments by domestic companies to be at least twice as large as the invested funds.

“As a Government, we not only support such entrepreneurial ventures and foreign direct investments, but we also support domestic entrepreneurs, domestic industry and the domestic economy. You know that the interest rate on the loan is 1.95 percent, which is a subsidized rate by the Government, with a grace period of three years and a repayment period of up to twelve years. In this way, we expect the investments of domestic companies to be at least twice as large as the invested funds,” said PM Mickoski while attending an official opening of the Brainchild factory in the Zabeni industrial zone.
