Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski says that he is following the case of the return of the passport to Borche Markovski, accused of abuses by the Struga Basic Court, and points out that it “has gross manipulation by a local public prosecutor in the High Public Prosecutor’s Office, who is an accomplice in this process”. He expects an investigation into this case because the competent Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office had a different report than the one that was submitted as a record by the Bitola High Public Prosecutor’s Office.
“I followed the case yesterday and became interested. And I think that there is gross manipulation here by a local public prosecutor in the High Public Prosecutor’s Office, who is an accomplice in this process. And it will not end like this,” said Mickoski in response to media questions during a visit to the Bitola Clinical Hospital.
The PM said he would not like to speculate on names because there will still be an investigation into this process.
“There will be an investigation soon because we have a different report from the competent Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office than the one submitted as a report by the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bitola. So, this will not end like this. I personally guarantee you this and I will personally follow this case,” said PM Mickoski.
