Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova attended a reception on the National Day of France – July 14 (Bastille Day), hosted by the French Embassy in Skopje on Tuesday evening.
“Sincere congratulations to President Emmanuel Macron and the French libertarian people! Ambassador Christophe Le Rigoleur reminded us of the French Revolution and its deep belief in “liberty, fraternity and equality”, of the inexhaustible democratic inspiration of the “French Declaration of Freedom and Rights of Man and Citizen”, said Siljanovska-Davkova in a social media post.
The Macedonian head of state adds that “the Macedonian-French friendship, founded on mutual respect, is particularly built on the Francophonie, as well as through rich educational, scientific and cultural exchange”.
