The Kumanovo Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO), in cooperation with the Investigation Center at the Prosecutor’s Office, the Kumanovo Interior Department and other competent state authorities, has expanded the investigation against the suspected twenty-five-year-old shepherd from Staro Nagorichane for four more serious crimes, murder and attempted murder of a qualified nature, public prosecutor Ljubomir Lape said a t a press conference Thursday.
As the prosecutor noted, after providing new evidence, the investigation has been expanded to include two crimes of a qualified nature and two crimes of an attempted murder of a qualified nature, which currently includes an investigation into a total of six crimes, four of which are completed murders, and two attempted.
Lape pointed out that, according to current information, this is the first case in the country where evidence points to a serial killer with elements of femicide, that is, gender-based violence, considering that the crimes were directed only at women.
