Renowned Skopje attorney at law Vladimir Tufegdzikj caused a storm of reactions on social media, after he harshly criticized the Macedonian opposition in a Facebook post. In his post, he directly indicates that the topic of Nikola Gruevski’s alleged return after Viktor Orbán’s defeat in the elections in Hungary is being used as a political strategy without a real basis.
According to the attorney, “a political opposition that sees its political survival in Gruevski’s return” has no real vision for the future.
In the post, the lawyer goes a step further, emphasizing that the possible return of the former prime minister does not depend on domestic political factors. Gruevski will be returned when those who raised the bar for him to leave give their consent, he wrote, alluding to the international context.
The harshest part of his status is directed at, as he puts it, “political sideliners” and “political parasites”.
“We don’t remember them doing anything good in the past 20 years, except talking nonsense and boosting their personal bank account,” added Tufegdzikj.
