A 27-year-old resident of Rosoman has been arrested after killing his mother with a sharp object this morning, the Macedonian Ministry of Interior (MoI) informed Monday.
“Police officers from the Kavadarci Interior Department arrested I.R., aged 27, from Rosoman today. At the Veles Interior Department, he himself reported that this morning at around 07:30 in the family home, using a sharp object, he inflicted stab wounds on his 54-year-old mother, who died from the injuries she sustained. A doctor from the Emergency Medical Service – Kavadarci confirmed the death. A public prosecutor from the Kavadarci Public Prosecutor’s Office and an investigative team from the Kavadarci Interior Department are inspecting the scene,” said the MoI.
The Kavadarci Emergency Medical Service indicated that the medical team at the scene determined a fatal stab wound to the neck. Due to the severity of the injury, the woman died immediately.
