Macedonian President GordanaSiljanovska-Davkova received Friday the credentials of the newly appointed Russian Ambassador Dmitry KonstantinovichZykov.
Siljanovska-Davkova expressed her conviction that Zykov’s diplomatic efforts would focus on the professional representation of Russian interests within the framework of international law, the president’s office said in a press release.
“Zykov considers representing his country on Macedonian soil a high mission,” reads the press release.
The ambassador expressed Russia’s readiness for open cooperation and the establishment of equal and mutually beneficial relations aimed at prosperity and development.
“May the arrival of the great Christian holiday Easter mark the end of wars and the beginning of a new era of peace and prosperity,” said President Siljanovska-Davkova.
