A total of 41 wildfires have been registered as of 7:30 Wednesday morning, of which six are active, five are under control, and 30 have already been extinguished.
As reported by the Crisis Management Center (CMC), fires are active between the villages of Selce, Puhce, Stepanci and Lakavica in the municipality of Shtip, where low vegetation is burning), in the villages of Piskupshtina, Lukovo and Burinec in the municipality of Struga (forest), in the village of Kopanica in the municipality of Saraj (low-growing forest and low vegetation), in the village of Paligrad in Studenichani (low-growing vegetation and mixed forest), in the village of Grachani in Gjorche Petrov (low-growing forest) and in the village of Tajmishte in Kichevo, in a place called Dardara, where low vegetation and mixed forest are affected.
The CMC says that the fires in the villages of Bitovo, Zagrad and Strajane in the municipality of Makedonski Brod are under control: (low-growing forest, low vegetation, pastures and fern), in the village of Dragov Dol in Makedonski Brod: (low vegetation and forest), in the village of Belica in Makedonski Brod (low vegetation and forest), above the village of Paligrad in the municipality of Zelenikovo (mixed forest) and the city landfill in the municipality of Delchevo.
