An agreement between Macedonian Public Enterprise State Roads and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD for grant funds for the construction of the Skopje-Blace highway was signed Monday in the Government building.
Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski stresses that this is a project that has been announced for decades, and he is very pleased that six motorwat sections will soon be developed across the country,
“In addition to this one that should connect the capital to Blace, there is also the section that should connect Tetovo and Gostivar, then Gostivar with Bukojchani, we are completing the section of the Kicevo-Ohrid, Prilep-Bitola motorway and I expect the procedure that should connect Bukojchani with Kichevo to be completed soon. Along with this motorway section, I expect these six highway sections to be realized at one point. That will be a great added value for the Macedonian economy,” PM Mickoski said.
Economic development, the Prime Minister pointed out, is one of the Government’s top priorities.
