The Interior Ministry’s helicopter, stands by airlines, aviation academies and professional organizations on Saturday attracted a crowd of young visitors in Skopje’s largest park, where the 6th Skopje Air Fair 2026 took place.
tudents and aviation enthusiasts had the chance to see up close the helicopter of the Hawks Helicopter Unit and to talk to officials of local and international companies, educational institutions and associations.
The aviation fair aims at presenting the prospects of education and career in aviation, said organizers.
Participants in the fair included TAV Macedonia, Wizz Air, the European Aviation Institute from Romania, the Aviation Academy from Belgrade, Global Aviation from Greece, Global Maintenance from Bulgaria, the General Mihailo Apostolski Military Academy, the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, the Aviation Federation of Macedonia, various aeroclubs, and other organizations from the aviation sector.
The interest shown by young people confirm the need for such educational events, which offer direct contact with industry professionals and showcase opportunities for career development in aviation, assessed the fair’s organizers.
