While trying to stop a truck loaded with timber, a police patrol had a horrific experience near the village of Volino late Saturday night – the driver ran over them, after which the police opened fire. The driver then fled the scene, but has been identified, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) informed Sunday.
Several bullets were fired by police officers, reads the report.
