A Turkish national has been detained in Ohrid on suspicion of participating in activities related to recruiting and luring a person for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.
The Macedonian Ministry of Interior (MoI) informs that on September 3 at 11 a.m., on the Tourist Boulevard in Ohrid, police officers detained 24-year-old R.K. from Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.
According to the police report, he is suspected of recruiting, inciting, luring or participating in the transfer of a person to another person for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.
The Ministry of Interior indicates that after the case is completely solved and documented, appropriate criminal charges will be filed against the suspect.
