In an audio recording in which pro-Russian businessman MiodragDavidovićDaka talks to the intermediary of the former Prime Minister and leader of the now opposition SDSM, ZoranZaev, the businessman says that if he follows through on the deal, he will give them EUR 2 million, and someone else will give them another EUR 2 million.
The recording available on social media reveals that Zaev will getEUR 4 million if the concrete jungle in Tetovo is built, which was supposed to have around 2,000 housing units with an estimated value of EUR 200 million, VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release Tuesday.
“Did Zaev take a bribe of 4 million euros from Dhaka? Where did this money end up? Do the transactions from these funds lead to Dubai where Zaev and Filipche are building skyscrapers and did they use part of these funds to buy shares in Indian airlines? Why are Zaev and Filipche silent on this topic?” they ask the ruling VMRO-DPMNE and demand that the Public Prosecutor’s Office investigate these indications of crime and a bribe worth EUR 4 million.
