Filipche has been sending signals and messages to the public for months that he is ready for a new national concession, which is yet another confirmation that SDS and Filipche would do anything to come to power, accused VMRO-DPMNE in a press release Saturday.
“Filipche is thinking the same way as Zaev, to sign everything that is put on the table for him. It is precisely those blank sheets that they signed while they were in power that brought Macedonia to the position it is in today. There is no red line for Filipche, neither for language, nor for identity, nor for any other national issue. For months, he has been courting Rumen Radev, and without hesitation he would sign constitutional amendments that would include Bulgarians in the Constitution,” the ruling party underlined.
VMRO-DPMNE accused Filipche of having nothing in common with the Macedonian historical ideal, and his party SDSM failed to keep many of the promises it made during its term in office.
“SDS came to power with promises of European health and economic prosperity, but none of those promises were kept. Instead, while in power they luxuriated on the backs of the people. The narrow circle around SDS filled their own pockets, while the country was left to collapse. Both the current leadership of SDS and Filipche are followed by scandals behind them related to public procurement, media purchases, and foreign policy based on trading in national identity,” VMRO-DPMNE noted.
