The leader of the opposition SDSM VenkoFilipcheand his friend and mentor ZoranZaev were apparently prevented from going to the United Arab Emirates to enjoy themselves this extended holiday weekend due to the crisis in the Middle East, but Filipche has apparently found another destination, the rulingVMRO-DPMNE said Tuesday.
“Instead, it would be better for him and his leadership to sit down and work, to get SDSM out of the quicksand they have plunged it into. And the way out of this is simple, a clear distancing from Zaev’s shady deals and crimes while SDSM was in power. Filipche can start by distancing himself from Zaev’s dubious friends and shady business partners like MiodragDakaDavidovic, AleksandarOnishchenko, BorcheMarkovski, etc. Let’s not list all those involved in Zaev’s criminal schemes,” VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release.
“And instead of distancing and consolidating SDSM, which is on the verge of disappearing due to his friendship with Zaev, Filipche plunged into posting on social media, writing statements about the elections in Hungary and the victory of Péter Magyar and his Tisza, while inventing some kind of private business between Macedonia and the already opposition Viktor Orbán,” reads the release.
Let’s reiterate on this occasion, the release adds, that between Macedonia and Hungary there is the usual official communication and cooperation between two countries in various areas.
“A well-intentioned appeal to Filipche, don’t make up stories, get down to work and consolidate SDSM. Every country, as well as Macedonia, needs a functional opposition,” VMRO-DPMNE underlined.
