VMRO-DPMNE-led Government brings investments, whereas SDSM prioritized personal interests, says ruling party MP

In recent days, SDSM and its leader VenkoFilipche have been attempting to demonstrate concern regarding issues affecting farmers, the minimum wage, and pensioners, said MPBranePetrushevski of the ruling VMRO-DPMNE party at a press conference Thursday.

He also criticized the opposition party for its policies while in power, specifically citing the modular hospital fire in Tetovo and the handling of the pandemic.

“Does anyone trust Filipche? Is there any room to trust him at all? Certainly not,”saidPetrushevski, alluding to the fact that the SDSM leader served as Minister of Health during the time the deadly fire broke out at the COVID-19 modular hospital in Tetovo.

According to Petrushevski, citizens can now see a shift in the country’s direction, pointing to Prime Minister HristijanMickoski’s visit to the United States.

Petrushevski noted that announcements regarding the further deepening of the strategic partnership with Washington, as well as discussions on investments in antimony, data centers, and the energy sector, are part of the economic activities undertaken by the current VMRO-DPMNE-led Government. The MP also criticized former Prime Minister ZoranZaev, claiming that during their time in office, Filipche and Zaev had placed their personal interests above the country’s interests.
