The Kosovo police detained a Macedonian national for whom Interpol, at the request of the Macedonian police, issued an international warrant, because he was convicted of aggravated murder and did not return to serve his sentence after being released for the weekend.

The Uroševac Basic Court announced on Sunday that it approved the request of the Basic Prosecutor’s Office from the same city to determine a measure of detention against the person identified by the initials H.E., requested by the authorities of Macedonia, based on an international warrant due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of a criminal offense of aggravated murder, which crime is also provided for by the Kosovo Criminal Code.

SO far, there is no information about when, where and under what circumstances the Macedonian national was arrested in Kosovo.
