Caretaker Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski shared via Facebook that after taking office, 78% more passports were approved than in December 2023, and 89% more passports were issued than in December 2023.
“Over 4,000 photos per day, passport forms provided and over 250,000 appointments scheduled and rescheduled,” Toshkovski said in a Facebook video.
The new system enables web scheduling and SMS information, with which all scheduled appointments in a year are photographed in one month, claims Toshkovski and adds that “if we want to have a state, there must be direct accountability for any action, especially to the detriment of Macedonia and the Macedonian people.”
