New Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski took over Monday the post from outgoing Deputy Defense Minister Tiron Jajaga and promised he would work hard and make the Ministry and the Army a mirror of the country, since as NATO member, the Army is its biggest ambassador.

“I am committed to work for Macedonia and make you proud of its Army,” Misajlovski said.

Pointing out that it is a great honor to manage this department, he said that the obligation is even greater, especially towards the employees and the active military and civilian staff, as heroes who take care of our and the security of the country. According to the minister, the reform processes will be at the top of the agenda, and according to NATO’s capability goals, the strategic framework will be updated accordingly, as a basis for the implementation of the reform processes in the key areas of defense.
