Video of the seized 700 kg of cocaine, a case in which actress Stojanovska
is involved
The Interior Ministry has released details and a video of the mass crackdown on
700kg of cocaine, in which Macedonian actress Silvija Stojanovska and her husband
were arrested.
The Interior Ministry says Stojanovska is part of a cocaine smuggling group from
Colombia to Spain, whose leader and organizer was her husband Vojislav
Budisavljevic.
The Department for the Suppression of Organized and Serious Crime in the period
July-December 2019, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor General's Office for
Organized Crime and Corruption, has taken a number of measures and activities to
establish the activities of an organized criminal group led by two Macedonian states.
.In order to exchange information and arrange activities within the framework of the
pre-trial procedure, the Department for the Suppression of Organized and Serious
Crime held a series of meetings and coordinated meetings in Skopje and Madrid with
Spanish and DEA police officers.
Stojanovska was placed under a 30-day house arrest.
