Perhaps unintentionally, but SDSM spokesperson Kostadin Kostadinov, one of Zoran Zaev’s closest party associates, confirmed at a press briefing that there was a classic and continuous political persecution against VMRO-DPMNE officials.
At a local municipal level, mayors, municipalities and other competent authorities have filed nearly 300 criminal charges to date against former VMRO-DPMNE staff, former mayors, council presidents and local leaders. Of the 300 criminal charges so far, only “129” have been processed before competent courts, Kostadinov said.
He was dissatisfied with the level of realization of the criminal charges filed by the SDSM, which he blamed, as he said, on the Swarovski-judiciary? He points this out at the same time that, according to analysts, the Kacarska judiciary is ruled by the state.

This is important because it is about high-level corruption involving public officials, Kostadinov said. The processes must receive a legal epilogue, he said.
The SDSM spokesperson did not say anything about corruption in the ranks of his political party that in less than three years’ rule has managed to become synonymous with tenders, innovation funds, Rackets 1, 2, 3… As for their rule in transition, no words are needed.
VMRO-DPMNE, on the other hand, reacted that it is a classic rape of justice and political persecution for all those who are dissenters of Zoran Zaev and SDSM.
The SDSM is a party led by a pardoned criminal who has abused the judiciary and prosecution for the past three years to turn them into an extended arm for their pernicious political action. There is ample evidence that the judiciary and prosecution are under Zaev and SDSM. There is no legal solution to the case in which Zaev publicly called for electoral corruption, no legal solution for Mayor Kurto Dudus, who trapped and beat a citizen in his mayor’s office. There is no legal solution to the “Leonardo” scandal, in which the secretary general of the government Dragi Raskoski is involved. There is no legal solution to the mafia clashes on the city streets and hotels in Skopje. There is no legal solution either to the bloody tender, to “Racket 2” or to the “Insulin” case and other matters directly linked to Minister Venko Filipce. There is no legal solution to the dozens of other affairs and scandals in which SDSM officials are involved, reads VMRO-DPMNE’s reaction.
