Travelers from Singapore and Japan expected at Deve Bair, stepping up measures for foreign travelers

Health Minister Venko Filipce said that this morning a Macedonian travel agency informed health authorities that 20 tourists from Singapore and Japan would come to the country via the Deve Bair border crossing with Bulgaria.

“As they come from Romania, where there is a registered coronavirus case, the local public health center has been notified and if necessary they will be examined,” the minister added.

The only hospitalized patient infected with coronavirus is in stable condition, the test is negative, which means she can no longer transmit the disease, but according to the protocol she will be tested and it takes 24-48 hours for testing to be confirmed, said tHealth Minister Filipce.
