The bus driver tests negative for coronavirus, but remains in isolation

The Ministry of Health said the driver of the bus carrying the two newly infected patients was negative for coronavirus.

He arrived at the Tabanovce border crossing with a new tour of Italian passengers. The bus was pulled aside, and by the time of the test results, he and the passengers had been in isolation for several hours at a Customs Administration building at the border crossing.

– Until the 14th day of the incubation period, calculated from the last day of contact with the patients (February 27), the driver, by a decision of the SSHI, remains in isolation under the medical supervision of epidemiologists, the Ministry of Health said.
