In line with its decision to close its borders for foreign citizens coming from coronavirus affected countries, s ome 20 cars with 50 passengers were forced to turn back from the Batrovci crossing at the Serbian-Croatian border today, most of them Macedonian citizens working in Northern Italy.
Serbian nationals coming from Italy are subject to all protective measures, as are other travelers. Upon control of the sanitary inspection, no further surveillance measures have been required so far.
As for airports, foreign nationals coming from coronavirus affected countries cannot pass the border control, as was the case yesterday, when all foreign nationals who arrived in Serbia from the Italian city of Bergamo, were returned from the Nish airport, while Serbian citizens were sent in home isolation.
