Starting today, all parents and family doctors who will have an urgent need to bring
feverish children to the hospital should do so at the Kozle Lung Disease Institute,
instead of at the Children's Disease Clinic.
Also, if there are children living in the region that is now in a state of emergency
(Debar), they will be sent to the Institute for examination, with prior notice.
This is a decision of the Commission on Infectious Diseases and Health Minister
Venko Filipce, in order to protect children hospitalized at the Children's Disease
Clinic.
The Kozle Institute has the capacity to care for children with fever, suspected of
coronavirus and children coming from the Debar region.
The hospitalized patients who are now in Kozle are being transferred to the Pediatric
Disease Clinic.
