37 detained for breaking curfew

In the past 24 hours, one person has been registered violating self-isolation orders, while 37 were detained for breaking curfew, the Interior Ministry said in a press release Thursday.

368 people have been ordered to remain in isolation in the past 24 hours, the press release added, and 82 people signed self-isolation statements. Only one person has been caught ignoring orders during police controls.

Police officers, the press release read, in cooperation with relevant institutions have inspected over 222 hospitality industry businesses in the past 24 hours and determined that three of them were violating government measures.

66 people, the press release added, were caught breaking the 21:00-05:00 curfew and 37 of them were detained.
