The head of the ruling Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), Ali Ahmeti, is in self-isolation at his home in the village of Zajas.
Ahmeti’s self-isolation photo was posted on Facebook by his brother, Shakri Ahmeti.
“Stay at home! And follow the recommendations of the authorities. Let’s overcome this pandemic easily,” said Ahmeti’s brother.
The party says Ahmeti is in isolation at home in Zajas following suggestions by his party. They advised the leader not to come to the party headquarters in Mala Recica because when he was at the headquarters, many party members came, increasing the risk of Ahmeti or anyone in the party becoming ill.
Ahmeti’s photo in self-isolation is striking, as no one has ever seen the DUI leader unshaven.
