Flights carrying Macedonian nationals are expected to arrive from Vienna and Basel on Monday.
A flight carrying 180 Macedonian nationals arrived in Skopje from Bonn after midnight on Monday.
In line with state quarantine protocols, passengers were taken to Hotel Drim in Struga to spend 14 days in isolation.
176 people returned from Berlin on Sunday. Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov said in a Facebook post that the Wizz air flight carried foreign nationals stranded in Skopje to Germany, before returning the Macedonian citizens here.
“We helped repatriate citizens from Austria, the U.S. the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Slovakia, Hungary, etc. Solidarity and cooperation will continue Monday when foreign nationals will be flown to Vienna and Basel on flights set to bring our citizens home,” read Dimitrov’s post.
