NATO’s enlargement course only creates new dividing lines at a time when the world needs to unite in the fight against coronavirus, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on the occasion of Macedonia’s accession in the Alliance.
According to the ministry, Skopje’s accession to the Alliance “brings no additional value to either regional or European security”.
– Such a step will not contribute to the unification of efforts to combat common threats and challenges, including the fight against coronavirus. It will only create new dividing lines, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
