The Government rejected the decree with legal force to limit the transfer of money for compulsory and capital financial pension insurance proposed by VMRO-DPMNE through its Interim Interior Minister Nake Culev.

The government says the decree is detrimental to 500,000 policyholders.

VMRO-DPMNE’s proposal stipulates that from April to the end of 2020 the payment of the mandatory part of the pension insurance contribution of the insured in the private pension funds will not be made, and it will be compensated on the accounts of the insured in a period of three fiscal years, starting 2022.
