According to the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage
paid per employee in February 2020, compared to February 2019, was 112.5.
This increase is primarily due to the increase in the average monthly net wage paid
per employee in the sectors: Professional, scientific and technical activities (20.1%),
Art, entertainment and recreation (19.3%) and Manufacturing (17.7%).
A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee, compared to the
previous month, was registered in the sectors: Financial activities and insurance
activities (14.9%), Mining and quarrying (12.8%) and Transport and storage (11.0%).
The average monthly net salary paid per employee in February 2020 was 27,206
denars, which is a decrease compared to January when it was 27,540 denars.
According to the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross
wage paid per employee in February 2020, compared to February 2019, was 113.1.
The average monthly gross salary paid per employee in February 2020 was 40,588
denars.
