VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski, in an interview for Alsat TV, spoke
about the current situation at the moment, and the convening of the Parliament, in a
country where convening of MPs is considered unconstitutional.
"There is currently no constitutional provision for convening the Parliament. This is
confirmed by Professor Gordana Siljanovska, who is a top expert in constitutional
law and who was a member of the Venice Commission. This is not a party issue, this
is a legal issue, there is no need to polarize the public on party votes on the one
hand or on the other, this is a legal debate. If we enter into a discussion on whether
this is partisan or we will never agree, I say let's find a solution, and that solution can
be found if the head of state again convenes such a leadership meeting so that we
are all familiar with the goal of the parliamentary majority," Mickoski said.
