3 patients die, 20 new COVID-19 cases

Three coronavirus patients, aged 59, 76, and 68, have passed away. The first was from Prilep and was admitted for hospital treatment at the Skopje-based Clinic for Infectious Diseases on May 7. The second, was treated at the hospital in Veles since May 6, while the third was from Tetovo and passed away en-route to Skopje, the press release read.

20 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in North Macedonia in the past 24 hours, while 24 patients have recovered and three passed away, the Ministry of Health said in a press release Wednesday.

New coronavirus cases have been registered in Skopje – 10, Prilep – 5, Tetovo – 4, Veles – 1.

This brings the tally of coronavirus patients in Macedonia since the onset of the epidemic to 1,694.
