The government is set to draft a decree on the implementation of the third set of
economic measures, some of which will be enforced as of June, Deputy PM for
Economic Affairs Mila Carovska said on Monday.
She underlined that the third set of measures is aimed at promoting the economy,
stimulating personal consumption, and supporting businesses, such as hotels and
restaurants, that have been most affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
“Personal consumption affects the economy. The third set of economic measures
aims to support companies, especially those from the tourism sector, such as hotels,
restaurants, travel agencies,” Carovska said.
She underlined that the first two sets of measures were intended to help employers
retain workers, while the third set aims to promote development and mitigate the
effects of the coronacrisis in 2021.
