The Health Fund to equate family doctors with those of state healthcare, private doctors demanded on Tuesday.
Colakova Dervisova reminded the Ministry of Health that the entire burden of screening the population in Debar fell on the family doctors, who successfully implemented it. But private doctors remain discriminated against by state doctors, she said.
The Government announced Monday that it will reward the most exposed health professionals in the fight against COVID-19 with 20% of the basic salary for two months.
This includes doctors and medical staff at the Infectious Diseases Clinic, Infectious Diseases Departments, the Institute of Public Health and Public Health Centers, as well as all members of the emergency medical teams. Until the beginning of this news, we did not receive a response from the Health Fund whether the requests of private doctors will be considered.
