VMRO-DPMNE against extended curfew over the long weekend

VMRO-DPMNE does not agree with the proposed measure for a full police hour
during the upcoming long weekend.
"It is illogical to announce that the restaurants will be open from Tuesday, and that it
will be mandatory to sit at home during the entire extended weekend. In other words,
Sunday and Monday are dangerous for the SDSM government, and Tuesday is not.
According to which criteria is such a recommendation made? VMRO-DPMNE
considered that the measure was too strict for a full curfew for the Easter holiday,
and now the upcoming Ramadan Bayram. In this way, human rights and freedoms
are being violated. At the same time, with such measures, SDSM consciously enters
into provoking tensions and conflicts between the population and exposes the police
in an undesirable role," reads VMRO-DPMNE’s statement.
