Leader of the Alliance for Albanians Zijadin Sela says his party continues to believe the best time for parliamentary elections is late July or early August, as expatriates return to the country.

He pointed out in the show “Patot kon” on Alsat TV that, according to him, it was best to hold the elections when the citizens would not be in danger of any virus or pandemic.

“But if the pandemic continues, then the elections should be held when the risk to the health of the citizens is the lowest,” he said.

Negotiations between the parties, Sela said, were ongoing and talks were under way on July 12th and 15th.
