For Macedonian citizens, the border crossings for exit from Macedonia are open by signing an appropriate statement issued by the Ministry of Interior at the crossing. With that statement, every citizen agrees not to seek help from the state, in case of a problem abroad.
Upon entering the country, however, each citizen must submit a valid PCR test, not older than 72 hours, which is negative. Then at the border crossing they sign “Statement of mandatory self-isolation for 14 days”. If such a test is not attached, or an invalid PCR test is attached, then a 14-day state quarantine is required.
