The average monthly wage in the country is continuously decreasing. State statistics
show that in April the average net salary was 25,830 denars, which is 600 denars
less compared to March. Since the beginning of the year, the average wage has
been reduced by 1,710 denars.

For tour operators and travel agencies, the average monthly wage is almost 20%
lower. Employees of accommodation facilities and food preparation and service
facilities received a salary lower by 9%. Wages have also fallen sharply in the
transport and storage sectors, the manufacturing industry, and the information and
communications sector.
